The Offspring anuncia nuevo álbum

Los californianos The Offspring anuncian un nuevo proyecto tras 7 años en blanco. La banda ha preparado ya su décimo LP, tras éxitos como «Original Prankster» o «Pretty Fly (For A White Guy)», planean lanzar este año su próximo disco de estudio.

Noodles, guitarrista de la banda, ha confirmado su próxima edición en respuesta a un fan en Instagram. Un seguidor del grupo dejó un comentario en una publicación del músico, a lo que Noodles respondió con un: «El álbum está listo. Trabajando en llegar a los fans ahora. ¡Estad atentos!».

El año pasado, el propio guitarrista habló en una entrevista para Music Feeds acerca del progreso del nuevo material: «Hemos trabajado de forma intermitente en este disco durante cinco años, la verdad. Pero tuvimos una cadena muy productiva este año, en la primera parte del año».

«Probablemente teníamos cinco o seis canciones que hicimos justo en ese momento, y empezamos a sentir que tal vez esa era la dirección que debíamos tomar en este disco». Además, añadió que el próximo lanzamiento traerá «unas cuantas cosas más directas de Offspring».
