Tina Turner número uno de Billboard gracias al remix con DJ Kygo.
La artista estadounidense lanzó junto al productor noruego una nueva versión de “What’s Love Got To Do With It”. Tina Turner salió temporalmente de su retiro profesional para entregar un “remix” de su éxito “What’s Love Got To Do With It” con el productor noruego DJ Kygo y que en sus tres primeros días al aire ya ocupa el primer lugar de la cartelera Billboard. La noticia fue revelada este lunes por la organización Billboard, especializada en la industria de la música y el desempeño de los temas más populares, principalmente en territorio estadounidense.
“What’s Love Got To Do With It” forma parte del icónico disco “Private Dancer” de Tina Turner, que en 1984 le permitió ganar cuatro premios Grammy y fue el segundo disco más vendido de ese año. Fue el quinto álbum de la artista y, durante su promoción, la cantante y actriz habló del abuso físico y psicológico que había sufrido durante su tumultuoso matrimonio con el productor Ike Turner.
La canción, escrita por Graham Lyle y Terry Britten, también dio el nombre a la película sobre la vida de Turner, protagonizada por Angela Bassett en 2003. En esta versión de 2020, el tema ha sido acompañado de un ritmo que recuerda a la música disco de finales de los 70.
