La banda multi-platino de rock, X Ambassadors, comparte su último single, una canción oscura y cinemática llamada “My Own Monster”.
Lanzada con KIDinaKORNER/Interscope Records, “My Own Monster” también es un cambiante sicodrama con forma de canción pop de ritmo intenso. “My Own Monster” ya está disponible en todas las tiendas digitales.
Realizado con el productor Andrew Wells (Young the Giant, Halsey, Fitz and the Tantrums), “My Own Monster” es una pieza de narrativa seductora y surrealista que aborda la alienación, el riesgo emocional y el deseo de liberarse del dolor. “Es una canción sobre alguien que tiene una voz interior,” comenta el cantante de X Ambassadors, Sam Nelson Harris. “Hay algo diabólico en la voz, pero la persona se siente atraída por ella y finalmente decide: ‘Voy a integrar esta cosa tan desagradable, que se convierta en mi aliada y me proteja. ¿Qué podría pasarme?’” Para crear la poderosa tensión que impulsa “My Own Monster”, X Ambassadors han mezclado el ritmo siniestro del tema con texturas de ensueño de Mellotron y tonos de guitarra similares al Theremin, especialmente seleccionados por su efecto etéreo.
